Gallery will feature world’s largest display of Department 56 Lit Villages;
Opens November 16 on Elvis Presley’s Graceland campus in Memphis

Memphis, Tenn. – October 11, 2023 – Enesco, a leader in the gift, home accent and collectible market for more than 60+ years, has announced it will open a first of its kind gift shop and gallery at Elvis Presley’s Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee, on November 16. The Enesco Gift Shop & Gallery Featuring Department 56 will be the ultimate destination for collectors and be home to the world’s largest display of Department 56 Lit Villages.

The Department 56 Gallery will tell the collectible company’s story through themed displays and vignettes featuring its beloved holiday hand-crafted lighted villages. With 47 years of experience designing Christmas and holiday villages, they have created a holiday tradition that transcends generations.

The gallery will feature the first six lighted buildings that were the beginnings of The Original Snow Village created in 1976. Then visitors will go on a journey through later Village collections featuring larger than life displays that evoke a feeling of holiday magic and nostalgia.

Enesco Gift Shop & Gallery will showcase more than 16 Village series and collections, including Snow Village, Dickens Village, Dickens A Christmas Carol, Downton Abbey, Christmas in the City, Alpine Village, New England Village, Snow Village Halloween, Disney, Disney Pumpkintown, Harry Potter Village, A Christmas Story Village, Grinch Village, Peanuts Village, Nightmare Before Christmas, among others. With more than 1,500 individual Village pieces and accessories on display, visitors will be immersed in each magical location.

Opening weekend for the Enesco Gift Shop & Gallery Featuring Department 56 will be November 16-18 as part of Graceland’s Annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony. During opening weekend festivities, fans and collectors will be able to attend merchandise signings with artist Jim Shore and Village Artists Tom Bates and Scott Enter; meet Melinda Seegers – also known as Ms. Lit Town; plus enjoy visits with Santa, giveaways, and much more.
